Sean Ash Signs Off
WISH-TV meteorologist Sean Ash, who joined the station in February 2000, signed off last night. He told the Central Indiana audience that he's heading to Detroit to "follow his heart."
He also jokingly accepted blame for all the bad snow forecasting that's gone on this winter.
Best of luck, Sean.
Sorry Angela but the others are right. He is going to Detroit to be with his girlfriend.

You are all wrong...the girlfriend thing was a big hoax! He's currently contemplating three offers...a chief job in Seattle, a weekend gig in Philly, and a State Climatologist/Professor position at Western Kentucky University.

Ain't a catch till it's hooked and landed.

No ring, but I hear she's quite a "catch".

Let's hope for his sake that there's a ring involved because Detroit is a pretty lousy place to be stuck if it doesn't work out.

His girlfriend is in Detroit. He fought WISH pretty hard to get out of his deal to go be with her.

Can anyone clarify what "following his heart" means?
