That makes three: David O, others take to the air in the 7th

The race for the Democratic nomination in the 7th District now features three candidates vying for votes via television screens. The latest is David Orentlicher, who has released an introductory ad that pokes fun at the candidate's name and features cute kids galore.

By way of fairness, I'll go ahead and also give you the latest ads from Rep. Andre Carson and Dr. Woody Myers -- no extra charge.

"Andre Carson is posting endorsements on his campaign website that he did not receive."

And this should surprise...who?

"Oh no, Ernie doesn't like me, time to go cry."

Is this your best? Really?

Oh no, Ernie doesn't like me, time to go cry....

Andre Carson is posting endorsements on his campaign website that he did not receive. Unions don't take kindly to a candidate using their name without permission.

"While the two of you are busy being embarassments to your party, the rest of us are trying to have civilized discourse. Try it sometime."

I've been reading your stuff...borrrrrring.
Civilized discourse? You? You make me laugh.

Ernie:

Actually, Jen died (well, moved on) and left a small handful of us in charge. They are welcome to chime in, but I am sure that they to are tired of the

Ernie: Your candidate sucks!
Wilson: No, your candidate sucks!

that the two of you can't seem to get past. While the two of you are busy being embarassments to your party, the rest of us are trying to have civilized discourse. Try it sometime.

"Ernie, Wilson, settle down. We know you support different people, spare us all the crap that we are tired of hearing."

Who died and left you in charge?
I haven’t posted anything that would require anyone to tell me to settle down. I don’t believe that Wilson has either.
I didn’t see anyone criticizing your dribble regarding the Clintons. So back off and give us a break. God knows someone needs to liven this blog up a little.
I didn't think I would ever miss Jen, but I fall asleep reading TDW now that she has moved on.

Ernie, Wilson, settle down. We know you support different people, spare us all the crap that we are tired of hearing.

Now go to your room, you get no dinner tonight!

"Considering Ernie Shearer worked hard for Eric Dickerson and Jon Elrod"

Both are better-educated and more informed than Andre Carson or any Carson. Both are more qualified to serve than any Carson.
Losers? The only losers were the citizens of the 7th.

The LAST person I would have used in my commercial for ANY Marion County Democrat primary would be Karen Horseman...is there anyone more despised than her?

Considering Ernie Shearer worked hard for Eric Dickerson and Jon Elrod, it's obvious he knows how to pick the loser!

More nonsense and untruth from Carson. Slamming lobbyists while getting most of his campaign funding from special interest and lobbyists.
Woody needs the cross over vote. If he doesn't stop bashing W those who want to support him won't.
The kids are cute. Cute sells. David O's ad will connect with voters.
The least qualified of the three has two Doctors closing in. I can't wait to see fresh representation in the 7th.

Woody's add was great. The camera work, the music, everything makes it not seem like a cut and past political ad and makes you sincerely interested in what he is talking about.

Despite all the whooping and hollering about DavidOs name, the first name on the ballot is that of our Democratic Congressman André Carson ... all his seven challengers trail beneath.

The adds run by Myers seem to be more sincere.

David O's ad is great!! It will really distinguish him from the other candidates!

All the ads are okay, but I'd like to know how much Andre and David are buying.

Ack.

Sorry for changing this post a good hundred times. I'm used to writing blog posts in pure html, and this Typepad system is hurting my head.

Let me know if these videos are completely 'effed up.
