Hi, Balls! Meet Wall

Hillary knows one thing that works in the last twenty-four hours: on-point advertising that crtitcally hits your opponent between the eyes. According to the latest ad, Hillary wants Obama to give us a better reason to oppose the gas tax holiday than "it'll only save you $30." At the same time, we need to remember there's more to this race than the gas tax.

It's about change. It's about reclaiming the executive branch in Washington.

Yes, vote for change... Vote for Barack Obama.. Or as most observant individuals see him, this millenium's Jimmy Carter.

Mishawaka your eyes are glazed over with idol worship. Nothing I have read or heard leads me to believe Obama can deliver anything, and nothing I have read or heard has banished those nagging doubts I have had from the beginning. Different strokes for different folks. You vote for Obama because you can't imagine doing otherwise.
I don't heed Clinton/Republican talking points, I have listened to words that came directly out of Obama's mouth--whole speeches, and I just don't buy his rhetoric. He doesn't give me hope or trust.

Lance ... riiiiight. And I bet you still holding out hope that JS and BO will take IN today ... ha, ha, ha, hee, hee ...

Switzerland ... you're lying, again. By all means, prove me wrong -- link a reliable source.

I don't think Scott was trying to blame the Gulf War on Bill. He was making fun of Hill for her "sniper fire" comment.

One thing is certain ... Hillary looks like she needs new batteries in her personal massager.

Why are all over Obama for "hanging out" with a racist and not all over the Hillary camp for actually suppressing black votes through a front group in North Carolina. What matters more?

"Is it just me, or has everyone lost it...forgotten the dubious antics of the Clintons?
Folks, I remember like yesterday the first day we had air raid alarms in Saudi Arabia in the 1st Gulf War. I remember the first day I had to fire 50cal rounds at enemy vehicles. You don't get hazy when it comes to receiving sniper fire and running for your life...you just don't."

Scott, I hate to break it to ya ... but your memory is indeed hazy, at best. To wit: The first Gulf War/Persion Gulf War dates were from August 1990 to February 1991. Both that war and the present one occurred during the Bush presidencies. Bill Clinton did not take office until 1993.

"Obama will bring a new kind of leadership to Washington. He will work to bring both sides together so he does not have to rely on Party line votes"

How can a guy who votes party-line Democrat more than any other Senator suddenly become a consensus-builder? Change!

Independent still, you are still using those Clinton/Republican talking points when it comes to Obama. Not specific? Try www.barackobama.com. It's funny, the same people who have railed about our politics being reduced to sound bites are complaining that Obama is "not specific".

Why do you think that one of Obama's main buzzwords is "hope"? Over the years we have become jaded to the ideas and promises of politicians, and it is due, in large part, to political theatre like Hillary's call for a gas tax holiday. What she is proposing would take place THIS SUMMER before she could even be nominated. Her plan is a plan to get her through the next election.

Obama's plan is to #1. Tell us the truth. The gas tax holiday would actually end up making more money for the oil companies. He knows this from experience. He voted for a gas tax holiday while in Illinois. It did not work. #2. We need to invest in clean technologies like wind and renewable fuels as part of a comprehensive energy plan for the future.

Obama will bring a new kind of leadership to Washington. He will work to bring both sides together so he does not have to rely on Party line votes. Of course, many politicians have said the same things over the years. So many that a lot of Americans do not want to believe Obama when he says it. Obama wants us to have HOPE in our future and to believe that "Yes we can".

He still isn't specific, he still hung out for 20 years with a racist, and he still does not have the experience to run the entire country and effect the almighty changes. He cannot make these changes without cooperation from a LOT of others in Congress, and not just his side of the aisle. What allegience has he garnered, what profound respect from others that is going to make that happen? He can't do it by himself unless he plans on being a dictator. Things certainly need to change in Washington, but that hulking political machine is not going to be retooled and geared up by a single greenhorn. Add that to a whacky pastor and a wife with an attitude which still leaves me unconvinced he is the man for the job or the one who can beat the Republicans. I don't approve of Hillary either. The change needs to come in the party and the selection process. These choices suck! We need the Republican power out of the White House AND the Indiana State House, badly, but the alternatives offered are not heartening. Politics and the Press, like a dirty diaper, need a change and for the same reason!

Why doesn't Hillary ever tell us about the 300,000 construction jobs that will be lost by her 3 month 9 billion dollar tax holiday...it is just an election gimmick to buy our votes for $25 to $35 each WONT WORK

I agree. Analysts stated thate the gas tax silliness is simply political fodder. It will end up costing us more in the end, and oil companies will likely take advantage of this by adding pennies to the overall cost.

Is it just me, or has everyone lost it...forgotten the dubious antics of the Clintons?

Folks, I remember like yesterday the first day we had air raid alarms in Saudi Arabia in the 1st Gulf War. I remember the first day I had to fire 50cal rounds at enemy vehicles. You don't get hazy when it comes to receiving sniper fire and running for your life...you just don't. This is a greater tell-tale sign of character than one who attends a church with a whacky pastor...all pastors are whacky in one way or another. Get your heads out of the sand folks!

->For our future<-
